In this case, presented by guest surgeon Dr. Saarang Hansraj, a vitrectomy was performed to repair a retinal detachment not associated with a PVD. During the process of the vitrectomy Dr. Hansraj encounters a highly adherent posterior hyaloid making PVD induction and propagation challenging.
