230. ILM Flap Displacement

Today we have a surgical case submitted by vitreoretinal fellow Dr. Hafiz Abdullah from the UK. It’s a macular hole where the plan was for ILM flap–assisted closure, but intra operatively the flaps become displaced. Dr. Rahimy and I walk through practical tips for preventing flap displacement and adjusting your technique so you still give the patient the best chance at macular hole closure.
