In this episode we present a patient with a recurrent full-thickness macular hole status post 4 prior vitrectomies by 2 surgeons at outside hospitals. Here we use the patient’s preoperative OCT and surgical history to guide management. Surgical techniques demonstrated include epiretinal membrane peeling, macular stretching using a flex loop, subretinal bleb formation with a curved subretinal 41 gauge cannula and amniotic membrane transplantation. The patient experienced both anatomic and visual function improvement.
