When multiple surgical procedures are being performed in a single setting, it’s important for the surgeon (or co-surgeons) to think about the optimal order of the procedures. In this case, guest surgeon Dr. Steven Safran, demonstrates an IOL exchange for a scleral-fixated 3-piece IOL using the Yamane technique, pars plana vitrectomy with membrane peeling and a MIGS procedure.
