61. Isolate the Superior Rectus, Skip the Oblique

When isolating rectus muscles in preparation for implantation of a scleral buckle, it is important to avoid splitting the muscles and engaging the superior oblique. This will help to decrease the risk of post-operative diplopia. In this episode, we will show you a technique for hooking the superior rectus that minimizes the risk of also engaging the oblique.
